Managed Care Readiness Assessment Findings for Child-Serving Organizations Webinar

This webinar reviewed the findings of the managed care readiness assessment tool and addendum for child-serving organizations. The readiness tool provided organizations with 11 domains of processes, practices, and change management activities needed to effectively prepare for and function during the early stages of a business relationship with a Managed Care organization. Children's System Transformation Forums

The New York State Children’s Leadership Team hosted a series of half-day in-person presentations, which expanded on topics discussed in the children's system transformation webinar series and provided high-level topic introductions and in-depth implementation guidance for the transition to Medicaid managed care, State Plan Amendment (SPA) services, and Children's Home and Community Based Services (HCBS).

Integrated Managed Care Billing Guidance for NYC Adult BH Providers

This webinar focused on integrated managed care billing guidance and how to complete the managed care claim form, UB-04. This training covered a field-by-field discussion and instruction on how to complete the UB-04 billing form, billing guidance for clean claim submission, and timely technical assistance for billing.

Readiness Assessment Tool Webinar

In response to the transition to Managed Care, the Managed Care Technical Assistance Center of New York (MCTAC) is launching a Medicaid Managed Care (MMC) Readiness Assessment Tool.

The purpose of the readiness assessment is to assess organizational readiness for managed care across a number of critical domains needed to effectively prepare for the early stages of a business relationship with Managed Care organizations.

Readiness Assessment Results Review Webinar

MCTAC hosted a readiness assessment follow-up webinar on Thursday, February 26 from 10am-12pm presented by Andrew Cleek, Executive Officer, NYU McSilver-UIBH. This webinar included the collective results of the 300 submitted readiness assessments measuring preparedness for the transition to Medicaid managed care. Our presenters provided an overview of how participating agencies scored overall as well as in certain domains of the assessment.
