Person Centered Recovery Planning Video Series
This 4-video series/course takes a close look at the mechanics of co-creating person centered recovery plans with adults receiving mental health services. The first video offers an overview and practical tips about how to ensure that we obtain meaningful information through conversations with people as well as how that information can be organized into standard plan components to amplify the voice of the person represented. After this initial video, viewers can test their understanding by accessing three person-specific examples (or vignettes) in the remaining videos. The vignettes provide practical application and learning for how to develop person centered plans.
This series is designed for mental health professionals working with adults in any role to bring more intention to their work for collaborative decision-making about services, co-creating expectations regarding anticipated outcomes, and communicating the person’s priorities and preferences in the written documentation. Videos are supplemented with handouts and tools to support use and application of the content.
