Leslie Giglio, MPH

Leslie Giglio is a public health practitioner and advocate, committed to eliminating racial health inequities among historically marginalized communities, and addressing racism as a root cause of health and social inequities. At NYU McSilver, she works as a Senior Program Coordinator to support the CTAC technical assistance center’s mission to improve behavioral health systems and outcomes across New York State. Having started her career in the direct service space as an EMT and a frontline Clinical Case Manager during the COVID-19 pandemic, she is committed to upstream solutions that center and uplift community expertise via programs and policy. In the years since, she has worked as a program manager to diversify the physician workforce in CA, as well as a program designer and evaluator for community-based organizations. As a policy advocate, she designed environmental justice campaigns and policies, and supported the passage of SB321, protecting the health and safety of domestic workers in the state of California.

Leslie holds a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Public Health and Spanish from Santa Clara University.
