Miles Martin
Senior Communications AssociateMiles Martin supports the McSilver Institute’s communications and vision as a communications strategist and digital media expert. Prior to joining McSilver Institute, he freelanced as graphic designer, web developer, and creative director for diverse clients in Boston and New York, and he has taught multimedia art as a youth mentor in a partnership between Adobe and Boston Public Schools.
In 2020, he completed a Master of Urban Planning from NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. His Capstone team worked with the Manhattan Borough President’s Office and their Religious Faciliteis Task Force to create a comprehensive resource for NYC congregations facing diverse property-related challenges, releaased as an Action Guide. Miles is intersted in the unique opportunities at the intersection of urban life, communications, and research, and how planning and policy can be transformed to engage communities and prioritize sustainability. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Boston University.
