On June 17th, 2020, New York State will release a Public Notice informing providers of an 1115 Waiver Amendment. The 1115 Waiver Amendment aims to improve access to care for individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders by proposing that Adult Behavioral Health Home and Community Based Services (BH HCBS) are transitioned to Behavioral Health Adult Rehabilitation Services (BH ARS).
