Article 31 Clinic Virtual Listening Sessions: Access, Engagement and Return to Treatment

CTAC and MCTAC  partnered with the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) on virtual listening sessions for Article 31 Clinicc as a follow-up to the regional in-person sessions offered in early 2020. These sessions focused on areas related to access, engagement, and return to treatment.

These events included a discussion portion that was NOT recorded. 

Fee For Service (FFS) Billing for Article 29-I Health Facilities

For VFCA providers billing Medicaid Fee For Service, especially those opting into Phase 1 in February 2021, this pre-recorded webinar will provide an overview of the updated Article 29-I Health Facility Billing Guidance and focus on the requirements for billing Medicaid Fee For Service for Core Limited Health-Related Services and for Other Limited Health-Related Services. 

Target Audience: VFCA providers billing Fee For Service, especially those opting into Phase 1 in February 2021 

Regulatory Relief and Rapid Access in Article 31 Clinics

CTAC and MCTAC partnered with the Office of Mental Health (OMH) for a webinar offering for Article 31 clinics, Regulatory Relief and Rapid Access in Article 31 Clinics. Over the course of the last year, OMH gathered your feedback and worked with key stakeholders to make changes to Part 599.10 of Clinic Regulations to support more clinically driven and person-centered decisions made with individuals and families. This webinar provides an overview of these regulatory changes.

Clean Claims and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Billing Refresher

MCTAC invites you to view this one-hour pre-recorded webinar which discusses key principles of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Medicaid Managed Care Plan (MMCP) network and claiming requirements, and provides a refresher on submitting clean claims. This webinar reviews how these concepts support efficient and effective billing practices.

While this training is intended as a refresher it can also serve as an introduction to those who are new to billing Medicaid Managed Care. 

Regulations Revisited: A New Look at Article 31 Clinic Processes

CTAC and MCTAC partnered with the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) to provide regional in-person trainings for Article 31 Clinics. The trainings facilitated discussions related to areas such as pre-admission, admission, assessment, re-admission, discharge, treatment planning, and documentation. CTAC and MCTAC offered strategies to help providers streamline and strengthen these areas of clinic operations. OMH Clinic Program representatives as well as OMH Licensing representatives participated in the discussion in order to address questions related to OMH requirements. 

Children's HCBS Billing

This webinar covered billing for Children's Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) once the services are carved in to Medicaid Managed Care on October 1, 2019.

Webinar topics included HCBS overview, fundamental requirements, continuity of care and billing rules and tips.

Target audience:   
-Providers serving individuals under 21, who are designated or plan to be designated to provide Children's Home and Community Based Services.
-Managed Care Plans serving individuals under 21.

Article 29-I In-Person March Training

In March 2019, MCTAC and NYS OCFS facilitated in-person trainings throughout New York concerning the Article 29-I license. The purpose of these trainings was to provide a foundational understanding of the Article 29-I requirements, address themes and concerns that came up during past focus groups, and have Voluntary Foster Care Agencies (VFCAs) develop a strategic plan for implementing Article 29-I.

Topics included allocations, EHR, phased implementation, preparing to work with Managed Care, etc. 

Children's Aligned HCBS Series Webinar 2: Prevocational Employment and Supported Employment

This webinar series reviews in detail the Children's Aligned Home and Community Based Service array. 

Each webinar focuses on a distinct group of children's Home and Community Based Services and will include service descriptions, eligibility, and general business rules (such as qualifications, limitations, etc.).

Webinar #2 Covered: Prevocational Services & Supported Employment

Target Audience: Providers, serving individuals under 21, who are designated to provide or plan to provide Aligned HCBS.
