Helping Children Adjust to the New Normal Pt 1: Integrating Trauma-Informed and Resilience Building Practices as Students Return to School

The need for resilience building and trauma-informed approaches in schools is extremely high.  The global pandemic and racial unrest in our communities represent major stressors that can affect student learning and mental health and schools must be prepared to meet the social-emotional needs of students returning to school.  Uncertainty and concerns about safety after a long hiatus from normal school routines will likely be high for all children and youth, and many students may also be returning from more severe exposure to major adversity. 

Children's Critical Access Provider: Regional In-Person Trainings

This half day in-person training was designed specifically for Critical Access Providers! During this half day event, the Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC):

●     Presented on the aggregate data results from the Managed Care Organizational Self-Assessment

●     Reviewed areas of targeted need based on assessment results

●     Provided technical assistance and shared future opportunities for Critical Access Providers

Managed Care Organizational Self-Assessment (MC OSA) Report.

The Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) team offers tips on how to review your organization’s results followed by an open question and answer session. MCTAC discusses how organizations can help focus their efforts on high priority areas for improvement in time for the transition to managed care. This presentation describes the various technical assistance offerings that will become available to support you in these efforts.
