Through the Looking Glass: Applying a Complex Trauma Lens when Working with Children and Adolescents

Complex trauma refers to multiple or repeated traumas, often occurring at developmentally vulnerable times in the victim’s life, and often associated with disability, disempowerment, or dependency. This webinar will describe the prevalence of complex trauma and how to apply a “complex trauma lens” when working with trauma-exposed children and adolescents who exhibit a range of behaviors and symptoms that may not be fully captured by a diagnosis of PTSD. Clinical interventions and strategies to treat complex trauma will be identified.
